This year marks 10 years in one province, in one city, in one home for myself. I spent a lot of my life moving around with my parents being proud military members, which allowed me to see a lot of Canada growing up. After 10 years, I now feel like I can call Edmonton, Alberta my home. The sight of the city and around the city, makes me call this place home! Some of them include….
The Edmonton Skyline:
There are so many different trails and parks to go and see either the Edmonton Skyline, or attend one of the many festivals that happen throughout the summer. You can go to Fort Edmonton, Hawrelak Park, the River Valley, the Legislative Grounds, or smaller many other parks and walking trails.
Mill Creek Ravine:
Walking through trails such as the Mill Creek Ravine is like a mountain escape. A woodsy trail consisting of a dirt path that winds around a beautiful creek is the perfect escape.
Hanging out around the Legislative building, you are sure to see come wild life. The Canadian Geese stand tall, walking around the grounds. The sight of them will give you goosebumps.
The River Valley:
Along the River Valley a mother duck teaching her ducklings how to swim!
